The final day of Induction Week 2025, titled Students’ Union Day, concluded the welcome program on a vibrant and energetic note. Student groups proudly represented their respective countries through cultural booths featuring traditional food, costumes, and dance performances, creating an atmosphere of unity and celebration.
As part of this event, the Learning Resource Centre (LRC) contributed an intellectual and literary dimension by encouraging participating students to showcase authors and books from the countries they represented. Each national group prepared short presentations, posters, and book displays featuring notable writers and literary works from their cultures. This initiative served to highlight the richness of global literature and promote a deeper appreciation for reading and intercultural understanding among the WIUT community.
Through this effort, the LRC helped bridge the gap between culture and knowledge, inspiring students to explore the world through books while celebrating their heritage.
The event was met with enthusiastic participation and left a lasting impression, reinforcing the LRC’s role as a key partner in fostering academic, cultural, and intellectual engagement at WIUT.
