On October 20, 2025, the “Young Reader” competition was organized among students and youth at the higher educational institution. The main goal of the event was to increase students’ interest in reading books, form a reading culture, and raise their spiritual and educational level through works of art.
The competition was held in two stages:
Stage 1 — “My favorite work” condition.
Participants presented brief annotations about the works they loved to read. They analyzed the content, idea, and system of images of the work, highlighting the vital significance of the work. The jury evaluated the participants’ in-depth reading of the work, analytical thinking, and speech culture.
Stage 2 — “The most bookish team” question and answer condition.
At this stage, teams competed in a competition about the life and work of our ancestors, as well as Questions and answers on the history of Uzbek literature were held. Answers to the questions were submitted in written form, and the most active and knowledgeable teams were identified based on the evaluation results, and the final scores were calculated.
At the end of the competition, the results were announced by the Jury. The winning teams were awarded with souvenirs. Active participants were also awarded with certificates.
During the event, students demonstrated their love of learning, analytical thinking skills, and the spirit of teamwork. The competition was held in a warm, cultural and spiritual atmosphere, with active participation and a positive mood.
