The Learning Resource Centre hosted a Book Club session dedicated to Before the Coffee Gets Cold by Toshikazu Kawaguchi — a reflective novel exploring themes of time, memory, regret, and human connection.
The session began with a short presentation introducing the book’s central ideas and narrative concept. This was followed by an open discussion, where participants shared thoughts, personal interpretations, and reflections prompted by guiding questions. The conversation welcomed diverse perspectives and encouraged thoughtful dialogue, including contributions from attendees who had not previously read the book.
The event concluded with a short quiz, and one participant received a prize. Held in a warm and welcoming atmosphere, the session created a meaningful space for reflection, discussion, and literary engagement.
