Venue: LRC, Strategy Room

Description:

Our most recent session session on Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoevsky
Hosted by Abdulvoris Usanov and Shahriyor Aliyev⭐️

Students focused on Raskolnikov’s theory that certain “extraordinary” individuals can go beyond moral rules.

We discussed whether his crime was driven by ideology, pride, or desperation — and how the psychological consequences affected him more than the legal ones.

The novel isn’t only about murder.
It examines guilt, isolation, moral reasoning, and the limits of rationality.
